My dream job (First draft)

School takes up a very important part in students’ life. There they spend twelve years of their life. The school becomes like a second home to them. There they grow up, learn to love, to forgive and to be a friend. The school is the first step to life. The most important person in school is the teacher. He/she helps students to know life; he/she opens the door to unknown worlds. And so, I want to work as a teacher.
The profession of teacher is one of the oldest in the world. In ancient times the most educated person was a teacher, he/she was teaching not only one or two subjects what teachers do now, but he/she taught four or five different subjects. A teacher used to have a lot of authority over students. He/she was held in high respect by the community.
A teacher’s job is very interesting, but at the same time is very difficult. Teaching is a multi-faceted profession and because of this, there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages of being a teacher. The first advantages of being a teacher could be – it's an interesting job. Teachers always meet and communicate with interesting people. Sometimes a teacher has to go to seminars or he/she can go to abroad and see how foreign students learning, so he/she has a chance to see a world and there to meet interesting people too. Teachers can organize trips and together with students go to visit some interesting towns in their country or other countries. So a teacher can do a lot of innovative things in his/her job.
The second advantage of being a teacher could be that teacher can have a lot of children. All his/her students can be like his/her own children. It is good for a teacher especially if he/she has not got his/her own family and children. Then his/her students are a family for him/her and teacher does not feel lonely.
Some disadvantages of being a teacher could be these: a teacher has not much free time for his/her family, he/she forgets his/her own children, he/she has to work not only at school but at home too, a teacher’s pay is not very big. So a teacher has not much free time for himself/herself and his/her family. Sometimes teachers forget their own children. They spend more time with students than their own children. Sometimes teachers agree with students but they cannot understand their own children at home. That is because teacher spends a lot of time at school with students and has not enough free time for his/her children. But a good teacher has to coordinate his/her job with family and has to find free time for them.

Teachers spend a lot of time at school and even they have to work at home: to make lesson plans, to grade papers, to do all those reports about their classes. Sometimes they have to visit their pupils at home, to check their living conditions and so on. A teacher has many responsibilities and the reward for that is not always appropriate. We all know that teachers’ pay is not very big. For good teachers, salary is not a very important thing to them in life. These teachers do not worry about money. The important thing for them is students and their age. If teacher is good at his subject and he/she want to make money, he/she could give private tutoring lessons. He/she could have a few groups of students and he/she could have a second salary from his/her private lessons.
To sum up, as we see that teaching is not an easy job , as teacher has a lot of responsibilities that he/she must do honestly . But the best pay for his/her hard job is to see his/her ex-students become honest people who go on to have satisfying careers.

The educational system in Egypt(final draft)
Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its amassed knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another.
The systems of formal education are:  preschool education, primary education, secondary education and higher education.
Primary (or elementary) education consists of the first 5–7 years of formal, structured education. In general, primary education consists of six or eight years of schooling starting at the age of five or six, although this varies between, and sometimes within, countries. Globally, around 89% of primary-age children are enrolled in primary education, and this proportion is rising.
In most contemporary educational systems of the world, secondary education comprises the formal education that occurs during adolescence.
Higher education includes teaching, research and social services activities of universities, and within the realm of teaching, it includes both the undergraduate level and the graduate (or postgraduate) level. Higher education generally involves work towards a degree-level or foundation degree qualification.
Egypt is facing serious problems in education-problems compounded by low literacy rates and an exploding population. Educational quality, particularly in basic education and in technical and vocational education, had seriously declined. Learning, conducted with martial drills and physical punishment, encouraged rote memorization rather than critical thinking.
To solve these problems, the Ministry of Education should prevent teachers from using physical punishment with student. The curriculum must be clear and well-organized. Parents also should be aware that they have a great deal in teaching their children.
Finally, education is an important thing for our society to be safe. So, we must cooperate to improve it.

Immigration(Final draft)

Immigration seems to be making more headlines in recent years. As the world globalizes in terms of nations'economies ,trade and investment, borders are opened up more easily for flow of goods and products.People are supposedly freer to move around the world ,too.
But why do people immigrate?.People immigrate from one country to another for a variety of complex reasons. Some are forced to move ,due to conflict, while others may voluntarily emigrate. From another perspective ,immigration can also represent an act of courage. For example the hidden loneliness to be suffered is not always easy to overcome.
Immigration can have positive and negative impacts on both the host country ,and the original country.
The host country is usually an industrialized country in Western Europe,or the United States. For these countries, immigrants offer various benefits such as the following:Immigrants will often do jobs that people in the host country will not ,or cannot do;migrant workers often work longer hours and for lower salaries.
As immigration became a global issue ,there are different opinions about it.There is an opinion sees that immigration provide youth with the opportunity to succeed. There is another opinion which is against immigration, they ask youth to try to find any job but in the homeland.Iam with the second opinion ,as I think it will be too difficult for immigrants to find a good job there. And if they found ,it will be with little money.
To sum up,immigration has been and always will be a controversial area of discussion .And the government should try to reduce it.

Final draft (Pollution)

Pollution crisis is a major problem all around the world. It has adversely affected the lives of millions of people and caused many deaths and health disorders. There are basically 3 types of pollution. They are :air pollution ,water pollution and land pollution. I will talk about air pollution .
Air pollution is the material ,whether chemicals or biological materials, that is introduced into the atmosphere by humans or human products.
Each year industrially developed countries generate billions of tons of pollutants.
But what are the causes of air pollution?
Air pollution is caused by a wide variety of things. Cars, trucks, jet airplanes and other engine vehicles cause air pollution. This type of air pollution creates smog that causes health problems and widens the holes in the ozone layer. Factories and power generating stations burn fossil fuels , which cause air pollution.
What about the effects ?.Some of the activities of man produce greenhouse gases. The balance of the greenhouse gases changes and this has effects on the whole planet.
Because there are more greenhouse gases ,more heat is trapped which makes the Earth warmer .This is known as GLOBAL WARMING.
The changes in climate will affect everyone ,but some populations will be at great risk. For example, countries whose coastal regions have a large population ,such as Egypt , may see whole populations move inland to avoid flood risk areas.

As we see there is a fast increase in air pollution in Egypt , so we have to do something to restore healthier environment.the first step is to increase awareness among the people . The second step is to make the environmental protection a national priority.
It is the time that we take this issue of pollution seriously ,or it could have adverse effects on our future generatins.
